ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students at the ICTM Annual Conference

ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ (ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½) students Sahar Barakat and Hailey Bramwell presented their mathematics research poster entitled, "FUNctions with Desmos" at the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) Annual Conference on Saturday, October 8 in Peoria, Ill. Their project highlights interactive activities that use functions to mathematically model different situations, along with the use of Desmos, an online graphing calculator that engages K-12 students with investigating mathematical relationships. Their project advisor is ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½'s Assistant Professor of Mathematics Jaclyn Murawska.
